About the Role

Commercial Bank International is seeking a Product Manager dedicated to overseeing the entire lifecycle of retail banking products. This role entails defining product vision, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, examining competitive offerings, and collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and support teams to achieve revenue targets and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute strategies and marketing plans to expand product portfolios and enhance profitability.
  • Lead development and acquisition initiatives involving sales teams, branches, and alternative channels to boost revenue and profit through cross-selling and customer acquisition.
  • Contribute to the implementation of retail lending strategies and achieve annual sales and revenue goals.
  • Expand portfolio size and improve product quality to enhance profitability and earnings.
  • Coordinate with Credit, Sales, Operations, CCRD, and IT departments on product improvement, frontline training, policy changes, documentation, and campaigns.
  • Work with sales channels such as direct sales, branches, and tele-sales to improve customer acquisition and service processes.
  • Ensure timely and efficient deployment of marketing communications and promotional activities.
  • Improve customer service standards by monitoring sales and credit performance against agreed benchmarks.
  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis of sales and portfolio performance to identify challenges, address unprofitable products, and seize growth opportunities.
  • Monitor turnaround times in acquisition, approvals, and disbursals.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in retail banking.
  • Strong familiarity with banking standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • In-depth understanding of profitability drivers and market dynamics across different product lifecycle stages.
  • Advanced analytical skills with knowledge of scientific marketing including surveys and statistical analysis.
  • Acquaintance with bank operations, sales, and support environments, along with a solid customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
