About the Team
The Platform Responsibility team pioneers innovative approaches to content safety by deeply integrating AI technology. We are building advanced infrastructure utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) to transform risk detection and governance for improved precision and efficiency. By leveraging sophisticated data pipelines and AI-driven decision-making, we support global business growth and maintain user trust at scale.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and refine safety strategies specifically tailored for TikTok Live, addressing risks such as content violations, scams, minor protection, and harmful behaviors including distracted driving.
- Convert complex safety control needs into clear product frameworks and system functionalities, covering comprehensive processes involving algorithmic interception, human moderation, and user education or appeals.
- Create and enhance core performance metrics for live safety. Utilize extensive data analysis and user feedback to monitor strategy effectiveness—tracking recall, precision, and disturbance rates—and drive continuous improvements via A/B testing.
- Act as a pivotal collaborator across regions and departments, working closely with global operations, legal, PR, algorithm, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of major cross-functional initiatives.
- Keep abreast of global regulatory changes and cultural differences to ensure live safety measures align with regional compliance and cultural expectations.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in internet strategy products, risk management, Trust & Safety, or moderation governance.
- Proficiency with cutting-edge AI, including Large Language Models and multi-modal models, with a strong track record in applying AI for risk control and content governance within live environments.
- Advanced data analysis skills including fluency in SQL, experience with A/B testing, and capability to detect fraudulent behavior patterns or violation causes through extensive data evaluation.
- Excellent skills in cross-cultural communication, project management, and ability to drive results within complex matrix organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in live streaming risk control or working on global safety compliance is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience applying AI/LLM strategies is a strong plus.
