Role Overview

We are seeking a Product Manager specializing in Applied AI and enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) to lead the product roadmap of our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team. This position blends enterprise product management with applied AI, technical prototyping, cybersecurity, and customer engagement. The successful candidate will collaborate intimately with users, technical experts, and FDEs to convert intricate operational challenges into secure, production-grade products and versatile platform components.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and prioritize the product roadmap of the FDE pod, focusing on customer challenges, pilot projects, production stabilization, and scalable product capabilities.
• Engage internal users and technical stakeholders to analyze workflows, data inputs, constraints, risk factors, and success metrics.
• Transform vague operational demands into definitive product strategies, requirements, workflows, acceptance criteria, priorities, and release schedules.
• Develop AI-driven workflows incorporating Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), intelligent agents, data extraction, classification, summarization, and decision support systems.
• Establish quality criteria, evaluation processes, feedback mechanisms, model trade-offs, and human-in-the-loop governance.
• Utilize Python, SQL, computational notebooks, and design tools like Figma to prototype ideas, validate assumptions, clarify specifications, and communicate product visions.
• Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers for deployment plans, operational preparedness, documentation, monitoring, stakeholder updates, and promotion of user adoption.
• Factor in security, privacy, audit trails, access controls, data management, on-premise setups, isolated networks, and restricted connectivity during product decisions.
• Collect real-world feedback and convert recurring user needs into reusable features and implementation frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level experience in product management related to technical, enterprise, data-centric, AI-related, platform, or applied software products.
• Strong technical knowledge across AI applications, data pipelines, APIs, enterprise integrations, and deployment limitations.
• Proven skill in converting ambiguous operational issues into well-defined product requirements, workflows, prioritization plans, acceptance standards, and release timetables.
• Practical prototyping capabilities using Python, SQL, notebooks, and design software such as Figma.
• Deep understanding of balancing user value, development speed, security, reliability, maintainability, and user adoption.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams through pilot phases, production launches, and iterative product improvements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Confidence in leading requirements workshops, roadmap planning, internal showcases, and stakeholder consensus meetings.

Preferred Experience

• Applied AI Product Leadership: Familiarity with LLM-based applications, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, evaluation methods, iterative feedback loops, prompt/workflow optimization, model trade-off assessments, and responsible human-in-the-loop design.
• eGRC Domain Expertise: Strong preference for professionals experienced with enterprise governance, risk, and compliance products encompassing risk/control management, compliance procedures, evidence gathering, policy enforcement, audit preparedness, issue resolution, third-party risk assessment, regulatory reporting, and workflow optimization for regulated sectors.
• Enterprise Systems Delivery: Demonstrated experience managing product roadmaps, release planning, pilot-to-production transitions, enterprise-level integrations, adoption metrics, documentation strategies, support frameworks, and operational readiness.
• Cybersecurity & Sensitive Environments: Background in cybersecurity operations, identity/access management, audit logging, data classification, regulated data governance, on-premises deployments, air-gapped systems, or networks with stringent constraints.
