Key Responsibilities

• Manage product change control and oversee approval processes for unreleased products.
• Authorize Engineering Change Orders and coordinate Part Change Notification implementations with Global Product Support.
• Advise Engineering and Business Units on field service impacts related to part or supplier modifications.
• Ensure the accuracy of customer-shipped configurations and bills of materials (BOM).
• Conduct Configuration Accuracy Review Meetings and approve Non Standard Requests.
• Oversee the roadmap and deployment of common modules post Phase 5 of the ePLC process.
• Implement component roadmaps addressing obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors, and cost reductions.
• Facilitate intercompany communication to align product strategies, pricing guidance, spare part levels, and restricted orders, including conducting alignment meetings on roadmap and market proliferation.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives and manage strategic supplier issues.
• Supervise all product modifications post-release from engineering, quality, safety, customer demand, or supply obsolescence perspectives.
