Key Responsibilities
- Manage product change control and oversee approval processes for unreleased products.
- Authorize Engineering Change Orders and coordinate Part Change Notification implementations with Global Product Support.
- Advise Engineering and Business Units on field service impacts related to part or supplier modifications.
- Ensure the accuracy of customer-shipped configurations and bills of materials (BOM).
- Conduct Configuration Accuracy Review Meetings and approve Non Standard Requests.
- Oversee the roadmap and deployment of common modules post Phase 5 of the ePLC process.
- Implement component roadmaps addressing obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors, and cost reductions.
- Facilitate intercompany communication to align product strategies, pricing guidance, spare part levels, and restricted orders, including conducting alignment meetings on roadmap and market proliferation.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives and manage strategic supplier issues.
- Supervise all product modifications post-release from engineering, quality, safety, customer demand, or supply obsolescence perspectives.

- Possess strong conceptual and practical knowledge in your field, with awareness of related disciplines.
- Understand best practices and how your area links with others, while being conscious of competitors and market differentiators.

- Serve as a mentor for less experienced colleagues and potentially lead small-scale projects with manageable risks.
- Address complex challenges by adopting new perspectives and making informed judgments based on diverse information sources.

- Influence various customer, operational, project, or service activities across teams under broad policy frameworks.
- Communicate sensitive or complex information effectively and foster consensus among stakeholders.
