Role Overview
The Product Improvement Analyst will assess product performance, customer feedback, operational data, and market insights to pinpoint opportunities for ongoing product enhancement and business growth. Responsibilities include evaluating product metrics, performing root cause analyses, tracking customer satisfaction, and delivering data-supported recommendations to elevate product quality, usability, reliability, and the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
The analyst will collaborate closely with product managers, engineering, quality assurance, customer support, marketing, sales, and business stakeholders to prioritize improvements, optimize features, and support strategic initiatives. Additional duties involve competitor analysis, user behavior studies, KPI tracking, aiding A/B experiments and product validations, preparing executive-level reports and dashboards, and driving continuous enhancements throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Product Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience in roles such as product analysis, product operations, business analysis, product management, quality assurance, customer experience, or business intelligence.
- Comprehensive understanding of product lifecycle management, performance measurement, customer journey mapping, optimization techniques, continuous improvement methods, and data-driven decision processes.
- Experience analyzing customer feedback, usage metrics, operational data, competitor benchmarks, market trends, and success indicators.
- Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar tools.
- Expertise in creating dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards, and data visualizations to aid monitoring and executive decision-making.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills for identifying enhancement opportunities, assessing business impact, and proposing feasible solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities to work effectively across multiple teams and leadership levels.
- Experience with Agile product development, A/B testing, user acceptance testing, feature prioritization, process optimization, or digital transformation is highly valuable.
- Knowledge of Python, R, SQL query optimization, experimentation frameworks, and methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean, or Scrum is advantageous.
- Professional certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Google Analytics Certification, or similar qualifications are a plus.
