About the Company
Qohash is developing a zero-copy data security control layer to help enterprises adopt AI with greater confidence. Its platform, Qostodian, enables large organizations to find, classify, govern, and fix sensitive unstructured data across important data sources without transferring or duplicating that data. This approach lowers risk, supports data sovereignty, and helps companies secure information where it already resides.
The need for this solution is growing as AI adoption increases the risk, complexity, and urgency of protecting enterprise data. Organizations that want to safely deploy AI agents, copilots, retrieval systems, or automated workflows must first understand where sensitive data is stored, who can access it, and how controls can be applied at scale.
Culture and Values
Culture is a central part of the organization. The company’s five guiding values are: pursuit of excellence, resilience, mission focus, accountability, and embracing conflict. These principles are intended to shape how the team works and collaborates every day.
About the Role
The team is looking for a UI/UX Product Designer who is enthusiastic about building clear, intuitive, and meaningful user experiences. The right person knows how to create interfaces that are easy to understand, improve existing patterns using industry best practices, and clearly explain flows, use cases, and user personas while spotting opportunities for enhancement through feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design journey end-to-end, from early concept work through research, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual designs.
- Run user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to collect insights and confirm design choices.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, customer experience teams, and other stakeholders to keep designs aligned with business priorities and technical realities.
- Facilitate workshops and idea sessions that encourage collaboration and lead to creative design outcomes.
- Build and maintain a consistent design system that supports a unified experience across the Qostodian platform.
- Use analytics and user feedback to continuously refine and improve the product experience.
- Make sure designs follow accessibility standards and recognized UX/UI best practices.
- Showcase design proposals to stakeholders and champion user-centered design thinking.
- Collect and apply feedback from users and internal partners to strengthen and evolve solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally within cybersecurity.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience using Figma.
- Strong grounding in user-centered design principles and common design methodologies.
- Practical experience with user research and usability testing.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with DSPM and cybersecurity products, experience in a startup environment, and knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Bilingual ability in English and French is considered an advantage.
- Preference is given to candidates who live in Quebec.
Perks and Benefits
- Competitive compensation.
- Up to six weeks of paid time off each year.
- A comprehensive benefits package that includes life insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, paramedical support, telemedicine services, and an HSA account.
