Product Designer

About the Role

This opportunity is offered by a partner company seeking a Product Designer based in Switzerland. The role involves designing forward-thinking digital products at the convergence of finance, technology, and decentralised systems. You will play a pivotal part in creating user experiences for advanced web applications and decentralised platforms.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business, you will translate complex challenges into simple and impactful design solutions. This position is well suited for a designer with strong UX knowledge, visual excellence, and a drive to develop products from inception to launch.

You will have significant influence over the full product lifecycle, ranging from early sketches and prototypes to refined final deliverables. This hands-on role allows you to shape product strategy and contribute to creating solutions that serve a worldwide technology community.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee design projects through every stage, from initial concepts and user journey mapping to product release.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to devise elegant and feasible solutions for intricate design problems.
• Develop user-centered strategies by gathering insights, evaluating customer needs, and building experiences that provide substantial value.
• Rapidly prototype wireframes, design concepts, and user flows, balancing exploration with meticulous attention to detail.
• Influence overall product strategy and enhance design quality, coherence, and user experience.
• Advance design processes and advocate for a user-focused mindset throughout the organisation.
• Apply strong visual design fundamentals relating to layout, typography, colour theory, and interaction design.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of three years’ experience in product, UI, or UX design roles.
• Demonstrated success designing consumer-facing digital products for web and mobile platforms.
• Proficiency in developing wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and comprehensive product designs.
• Deep understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and user-centric design approaches.
• Expertise with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Strong graphic design skills including layout composition, typography, and colour usage.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate efficiently within fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing meticulous design choices, a keen eye for detail, and passion for quality craftsmanship.
• Relevant experience in fintech, cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital asset products is advantageous.
• Prior involvement with crypto exchanges or decentralised applications is a strong plus.
• Availability to work within North/South American or European time zones.
