Role Overview
Imagine redefining computing in a timeless way, blending quality craftsmanship, playful design, and broad appeal. This is the challenge for a Product Designer at our company, working to create intuitive software experiences grounded in strong product and UX intuition, technical insight, and attention to detail. This role is based in San Francisco and requires presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays to collaborate closely with the team in our office.
Key Responsibilities
- Design innovative product concepts that skillfully balance vision, craftsmanship, rapid delivery, and commercial viability.
- Shape every aspect of new features, from initial ideas through user experience design to pixel-perfect finalization.
- Manage projects comprehensively with engineering partners to bring designs from concept to release.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience, Sales, and Customer Success teams to gather and analyze feedback across diverse user groups, guiding roadmap prioritization and planning.
- Work in partnership with Marketing to create compelling narratives across user journeys, platforms, and support channels.
- Develop new intuitive and practical design patterns while intentionally evolving the design system to support scaling.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of end-to-end project leadership in product design.
- Deep commitment to understanding customer needs and creating user-centered experiences that solve real problems.
- Strong ability to clarify complex concepts into accessible mental models and seamless user flows.
- Proven skills in designing clear, intuitive, and visually engaging user interfaces.
- Business-minded approach to design, balancing aesthetics with practicality and speed without losing sight of objectives.
- Open-minded collaborator adept at incorporating diverse stakeholder inputs to reach optimal design decisions.
- Effective storytelling capabilities using both verbal and visual communication to align teams.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product management, engineering, research, and other designers.

- Experience developing impactful tools with small, agile teams.
- Ability to bring diverse perspectives that complement team strengths.
- A strong motivation to address issues caused by fragmented tools and siloed information.
- Familiarity with computing pioneers like Douglas Engelbart, Alan Kay, and Bret Victor.
- Capability to blend design skills with coding proficiency.
Compensation and Culture
We offer highly competitive cash salary, equity, and benefits. The estimated base pay range for this position in San Francisco is $285,000 to $330,000 annually. Office and Work Schedule
