Role Overview
Join our team at NZ Post in Wellington as a Processing Officer who plays a vital role in sorting, consolidating, and dispatching parcels and freight at the Kiawharawhara branch. This position requires skilled forklift operation to prepare parcels for courier delivery, contributing to the growth and success of New Zealand's parcel network.
Work Schedule and Location
The job is full-time, onsite at the Kiawharawhara facility, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 2pm to 8pm.
Compensation and Allowances
The role pays $26.75 per hour plus additional allowances.
Candidate Profile
- Must have availability Monday to Friday, 2pm - 8pm.
- Possess a valid F endorsement or OSH certificate along with practical forklift experience.
- Proficient with computers, including email, MS Office, and reporting tools.
- A strong team player dedicated to maintaining safety for self, coworkers, and the workplace.
- Physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including lifting up to 25kg.
- Detail-oriented with good geography knowledge to aid logistics.
