About the Role
The Process Improvement Project Manager is a pivotal part of the Operations team at KPI Solutions, focusing on enhancing visibility, promoting uniformity, and enabling scalability in project delivery and overall operations. This role collaborates extensively with Scheduling, Project Management, and other department leaders to create insightful dashboards and reports that highlight project timelines and delivery efficiencies.
They are also responsible for leading the creation, implementation, and continual refinement of key operational processes and tools, helping the company grow efficiently while ensuring predictable execution. Acting as a bridge across different functions, this role converts data into meaningful insights and ensures that processes are consistently applied across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain operational dashboards and reports showing project timelines, delivery results, resource use, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate closely with the Scheduling team to guarantee accuracy, standardization, and effective use of project scheduling data for decision-making.
- Develop, document, and standardize essential operational processes including planning, execution, project handoffs, and escalation procedures.
- Spot inefficiencies, gaps, and potential risks in current workflows, recommending scalable and practical enhancements.
- Create and deploy tools, templates, and frameworks to ensure consistent execution across projects and teams.
- Assist leadership by turning operational data into actionable trends and advice.
- Set and manage governance standards around metrics, reporting schedules, and process ownership.
- Encourage cross-functional coordination by defining roles, responsibilities, and expectations among Operations, Delivery, Scheduling, and other teams.
- Drive the adoption of new procedures, tools, and reporting protocols through change management initiatives.
- Lead continuous performance evaluations and improvement projects to boost efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Travel for business purposes is expected at a rate of 10-15%.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- 7 to 10 years' experience in operations, operational excellence, PMO, delivery operations, or consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of project delivery frameworks, scheduling principles, and operational workflows in service or project-centric settings.
- Proven expertise developing dashboards and operational reports using platforms such as Power BI, Excel, or Smartsheet.
- Strong track record in designing and implementing cross-functional processes that enhance consistency and scalability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the skill to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Superb communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to influence various stakeholders without direct authority.
- Self-driven and capable of handling multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
- Experience collaborating closely with project management, scheduling, and delivery teams.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certifications are preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office applications is required.
- Strong organizational aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
