Private Equity Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Private Equity Analyst for a contract role offering remote work. This position requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week with hourly compensation ranging from $100 to $144.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform detailed due diligence and analyze confidential information memoranda (CIMs/SIMs) along with related deal documentation to assess potential investment opportunities.
• Prepare, review, and enhance Investment Committee memos and Board Deck presentations that support crucial investment decisions.
• Interpret and scrutinize complex public filings, financial statements, and comprehensive transaction-related documents to support accurate investment judgments.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to track progress on tasks and detect critical issues during deal processes.
• Maintain exceptional accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive information throughout all stages of deal execution.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in private equity, or a combined background involving private equity and investment banking, at the Associate or Analyst level.
• Strong capability in examining public filings, managing M&A or financing deals, and creating CIMs/SIMs and due diligence materials.
• Advanced skills in preparing Investment Committee memos and Board Decks, effectively structuring and communicating complex financial details.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities to clearly articulate intricate concepts to various audiences.
• Highly organized with a disciplined approach to multitasking, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.

Additional Information

• This is a contract engagement with weekly hours varying from 10 to 40.
• Remotely based with no geographical restrictions within the United States.
