About the role
Coinbase is seeking a Principal Recruiter for its Core Recruiting group within People Success. This team leads hiring for the company’s G&A functions, and the role is centered on managing full-cycle recruiting for difficult, senior-level positions. You will work closely with senior business leaders, shape talent strategies, create strong candidate pipelines, and help improve recruiting processes so the team can scale effectively.
What you will do
- Manage end-to-end recruiting for complex, senior-level openings within your Core portfolio, from intake through offer close.
- Source proactively and research the market to build deep, high-quality candidate pipelines that keep hiring moving.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to turn business hiring needs into practical search plans and a smooth experience for candidates and interviewers.
- Monitor recruiting data and pipeline health to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and strengthen hiring outcomes.
- Create and roll out recruiting workflows and pilot initiatives that expand the team’s ability to operate across global markets.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a technology company or another fast-moving, high-growth environment, with a track record of closing senior and hard-to-hire candidates.
- Proven experience building and scaling recruiting operations across international or global markets.
- Strong command of the full candidate journey, including talent mapping, sourcing, interviewing, and closing.
- Comfort working with recruiting metrics and using data to make strategic recommendations for stakeholders.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly, with human review, to improve workflow speed, cost, and quality.
Compensation and benefits
The posted annual base salary range is USD 166,345 to USD 195,700, excluding equity and bonus. Total compensation may also include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.
Additional information
- Coinbase operates as a remote-first company, though it is not fully remote-only. Team members should expect quarterly in-person working sessions known as “surges.”
