Role Overview
The Pool & Beach Attendant is responsible for delivering attentive, professional service around the pool and beach area, while keeping guest-facing spaces clean, safe, and fully prepared for use. The role involves supporting guests, maintaining equipment and setup standards, and helping ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Key Duties
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, needs, and requests to support a high level of satisfaction.
- Greet guests warmly on arrival and thank them when they leave.
- Escalate guest feedback, comments, and complaints to senior staff without delay.
- Stay fully familiar with the property’s service standards and operating procedures.
- Set up beach beds, cabanas, and station areas according to the required process.
- Keep beach areas clean, orderly, and properly maintained throughout the day.
- Arrange sunbeds, umbrellas, and towels for guests, and provide fresh towels whenever needed.
- Pack and fold umbrellas in the evening as part of closing duties.
- Follow all hotel policies and operational guidelines.
- Report any suspicious activity or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain safe working conditions in all assigned areas at all times.
- Attend required meetings as directed by management.
- Carry out any additional duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Candidates should have completed high school or vocational education in hospitality, along with 1 to 3 years of experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment.
