Role Overview
As a Policy Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of growth funding and related policy initiatives by conducting thorough research, analysis, and reporting. Collaborating closely with Strategic Policy Advisors and Programme Managers, you will provide evidence-based advice and contribute to the priorities of the Growth Funding programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver analytical and research assistance for economic and policy workstreams.
- Assist with drafting policy documentation, reports, briefings, and supportive materials.
- Collect, organize, and interpret data to underpin policy suggestions.
- Contribute to periodic growth and economic reporting activities.
- Support program coordination, maintain documentation, and handle information requests within the Growth Funding programme.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships within the team and across the organisation.
- Participate actively in team improvements, initiatives, and foster a productive team environment.
Required Skills and Experience
- A relevant tertiary qualification in economics, public policy, law, planning, or related disciplines.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in relevant policy or economic analysis roles.
- Proven ability in analytical research and data interpretation.
- Excellent written communication skills with capability to concisely summarize complex information.
- Strong attention to detail, effective organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Open to continuous learning, adaptable, and supportive of a flexible team dynamic.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is approximately $80,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.
