Plant Manager - Continuous Process Plant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager for a newly established Continuous Process Plant located near Bharuch, Gujarat. This position is with a reputed chemical industry client and requires overseeing the entire plant operations ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet the production targets as outlined in the production schedule.
• Maintain consistent quality of intermediates and finished goods following manufacturing standards.
• Manage raw materials and energy consumption within the approved budget.
• Supervise plant utilities and energy consumption, performing deviation analysis as needed.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding liquid and solid waste discharge as well as gaseous emissions.
• Promote and enforce safe operational procedures to maintain accident-free working conditions.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and process enhancement initiatives.
• Implement technology upgrades to improve quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to quality and management standards such as IATF 16949, IMS, EnMS, and Responsible Care (RC) programs.
• Direct, mentor, and evaluate the plant workforce.
• Collaborate effectively with Quality, Maintenance, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Supply Chain, and other functional teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.E. or B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 13 years of experience working in Continuous Process Plants.
• Proficient with Distributed Control System (DCS) based plant operations.
• Hands-on experience with production operations, process control, quality assurance, safety, cost administration, and team leadership.
• Availability to join within one month; the employer may compensate or buy out the notice period for selected candidates.

Additional Information

• The company is located near Bharuch, Gujarat.
• Compensation offered is between INR 18,00,000 and INR 20,00,000 per annum.
• Candidates without background in Continuous Process Plants and DCS operations will not be considered.
