Picker / Packer

Overview

The Picker/Packer role plays a critical part in warehouse operations by ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, carefully packed, labeled, and prepared for dispatch. The individual operates under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader, focusing on maintaining standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Duties

• Select products precisely following pick lists or handheld scanner instructions.
• Confirm product codes, quantities, and their condition before packing.
• Securely package items to protect them during transit.
• Label packages accurately and ready them for shipments.
• Use barcode scanners to update inventory records promptly.
• Achieve daily targets related to productivity and picking accuracy.
• Keep the workspace orderly, clean, and compliant with safety protocols.
• Adhere strictly to company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate any discrepancies such as damaged, missing, or incorrect products to the supervisor immediately.
• Support additional activities including loading/unloading goods and performing inventory counts as needed.

Education

Candidates should have passed the 10th grade or completed equivalent higher secondary education (such as PUC).
