Physics Lecturer

About the Role

We are looking for a well-qualified and passionate Physics Lecturer to educate 1st PUC and 2nd PUC students at Falcon PU College in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lectures, conduct practical labs, and guide students in preparation for board and competitive exams while upholding academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Physics lessons according to the prescribed syllabus and academic calendar for both 1st and 2nd PUC classes.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, assignments, and examination papers.
• Clearly explain Physics principles, laws, derivations, numerical analyses, and practical applications to students.
• Supervise and conduct Physics laboratory experiments, ensuring students understand experimental procedures, observations, calculations, and laboratory safety.
• Prepare students for board exams as well as competitive exams like CET, NEET, and JEE as applicable.
• Administer regular tests including class tests, unit tests, revision sessions, and mock examinations.
• Accurately evaluate student assignments, lab records, projects, and examination answer sheets in a timely manner.
• Identify students needing extra help and provide remedial or individual coaching.
• Track and report on students' academic progress, attendance, classroom behavior, and participation.
• Maintain detailed records of grades, attendance, lesson completion, and overall student performance.
• Promote analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, scientific curiosity, and real-life application of Physics concepts.
• Engage in parent-teacher meetings to professionally communicate student progress.
• Coordinate with the Principal, Academic Coordinator, and teaching staff for curriculum planning and institutional activities.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training workshops, examinations, admissions, and other college events.
• Uphold discipline and foster a positive, inclusive, and conducive learning environment.
• Perform other academic and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Educational and Experience Qualifications

• M.Sc. Physics or equivalent Master's degree from a recognized university.
• Preference for candidates holding a B.Ed. qualification.
• Qualifications recognized by the appropriate education board or regulatory authority are preferred.
• At least 2 to 3 years of teaching experience at a recognized PU college or comparable educational institution preferred.
• Experience teaching both 1st and 2nd PUC Physics students is preferred.
• Experience guiding students for board exams and competitive exams is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge, teaching aptitude, and communication skills will also be considered.

• Proficiency with smart board technology, digital presentation tools, and online teaching platforms.

Salary and Selection

The salary package ranges between 35000 and 85000 INR per month, depending on qualifications, experience, subject expertise, and performance in the interview and demonstration class.
