About the Role
Join Woolworths Pharmacy's expanding team as a Pharmacy Manager in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand. As part of a network of over 45 pharmacies nationwide, you will contribute to delivering convenient pharmaceutical services that prioritize community health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional health services that enhance the wellbeing of the local community.
- Coordinate and organize staff and Pharmacists to ensure adequate pharmacy coverage.
- Supervise the Pharmacist and Dispensing Technician in the store, ensuring compliance and quality.
- Accurately dispense medications according to prescriptions and standards.
- Advise customers on pharmacy products and answer their queries effectively.
- Monitor and review inventory levels, ensuring excellent merchandising standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, reflecting the pharmacy's commitment to its clients.
Candidate Profile
You must be a registered Pharmacist holding a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and legal rights to work in New Zealand. A minimum of three years’ experience is essential, especially with experience in mentoring and acting as a preceptor for intern pharmacists, as the pharmacy supports two interns. Retail pharmacy experience is highly desirable. Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate team members are critical to success.
Working Hours
The standard roster option runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
