Role Overview
As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in building and expanding Kraken's people infrastructure across various regions. Working closely with the People Operations team, the Kraken Capabilities team, and business leaders, you will ensure an exceptional experience throughout the employee lifecycle—from post-offer onboarding through off-boarding—while continuously refining processes and systems to boost individual and organisational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance people management platforms such as HiBob, Lever, and Zinc, ensuring data accuracy, user-friendliness, and scalability.
- Lead and support global People Operations projects encompassing onboarding, internal mobility, and off-boarding processes.
- Organize onboarding logistics including equipment provision, contract management, system access, and background checks.
- Support visa-related operations by tracking visa classifications, liaising with agencies, and maintaining essential documentation and templates.
- Maintain, adapt, and localize company policies, employee handbooks, and guidelines.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on people tools and policies to foster compliance and a people-centric workplace experience.
- Collaborate with Legal, IT, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll teams to ensure seamless, secure, and compliant workflows across multiple countries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in People Operations or Human Resources, preferably within fast-growing or multinational companies.
- Proficiency with HR software systems, particularly HiBob and Applicant Tracking Systems like Lever or Greenhouse.
- Fundamental understanding of UK employment laws with the capacity to learn and adapt.
- A strong commitment to fostering a people-first culture paired with the ability to design scalable and efficient operational procedures.
- Excellent communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and skill in managing competing priorities.
- Hands-on experience overseeing personnel administration across multiple European countries, with knowledge of varying regional regulations and practices.
- Familiarity with benefits management and immigration processes is advantageous.
