What You Need

• A doctorate (PhD) or an equivalent advanced qualification in the relevant subject area.
• At least five papers published in SCI or SSCI journals within the last three years.
• Strong knowledge of research methods and ethical standards in the discipline.
• Excellent ability to analyse information critically and think independently.
• Clear written communication skills to deliver precise, useful, and constructive feedback.
• Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• A strong commitment to confidentiality and impartial evaluation.
• Previous work as a reviewer for academic journals is preferred.
• Comfort using online manuscript submission and review platforms.

What You Will Do

• Review whether the manuscript brings original ideas, findings, or insights to the field.
• Check if the research design and methodology are suitable, complete, and described clearly enough to be replicated.
• Assess whether the paper includes relevant and current literature.
• Judge whether the results are presented appropriately and whether the conclusions are backed by the evidence.
• Offer practical suggestions for improvement and flag any weaknesses, missing details, or ethical issues.
• Provide an informed recommendation for the editor, such as acceptance, revision, or rejection.
