Job Overview

As a Payroll Specialist in Software Support, you will assist our clients in the construction industry with their payroll inquiries and help them effectively manage their wage accounting through our software. Whether you are just beginning your payroll career or have several years of experience, what matters most is your hands-on experience with payroll processes, your interest in understanding the underlying concepts, and your enthusiasm for providing clear assistance to customers. You will receive structured training on our software and the specifics of construction payroll. No advanced IT skills are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions regarding payroll and our payroll software in a friendly and solution-focused manner.
• Analyze issues related to payroll accounting and software application, distinguishing between technical and substantive aspects to develop appropriate solutions.
• Clearly explain payroll procedures and software functions via phone, writing, and through real customer cases.
• Maintain documented records of customer inquiries and solutions while collaborating closely with payroll, product, and development teams.
• Contribute feedback from customer interactions to help enhance our support quality, knowledge base, and processes.

Candidate Profile

• Possess practical experience ranging from initial to several years in German payroll and wage accounting.
• Have a fundamental to good understanding of social security and payroll tax regulations.
• Show interest in software and have the capability to confidently learn digital tools and analyze payroll-related questions methodically.
• Work carefully with a service- and solution-oriented mindset and have the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
• Exhibit excellent German communication skills, both spoken and written.
