About the Role

Join Yarra City Council's dynamic and supportive Payroll team as a Payroll Officer, handling payroll administration and processing for over 1100 employees including contractors. This position plays a crucial role in building payroll capabilities for present and future needs, presenting opportunities to engage in positive change within the organisation. Responsibilities

The role involves supporting and processing fortnightly payroll to meet organisational requirements while collaborating effectively within the People & Culture Operations team.

Requirements

Applicants should have several years of relevant payroll experience to deliver consistent payroll management and processing outcomes. The position reports directly to the Payroll Team Lead and requires commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.

Additional Information

This permanent full-time role is Band 4 with a starting salary range of $72,735.56 to $78,273.31 plus superannuation. Registered days off are applicable on a 38-hour week basis. Employment is subject to successful completion of a Police Check; however, pre-employment screening does not exclude applicants without merit review.
