Role overview

The company is hiring a Payroll Clerk to join its Administration and Finance team within the hospitality sector. The role reports to the Financial Controller and involves working 6 hours per day. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling payroll accurately, keeping employee information up to date, and supporting compliance with payroll-related rules and procedures so that staff are paid correctly and on schedule.

Payroll processing

  • Review time records, attendance logs, and related input documents before payroll is run.
  • Compute wages, salaries, bonuses, and other pay elements.
  • Enter payroll information into the system accurately and within the required timeline.
  • Check payroll outputs for errors and sort out any mismatches or corrections.

Employee records and confidentiality

  • Keep employee files accurate and current, including personal details, tax information, and deductions.
  • Protect employee data and follow privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  • Record employment changes such as new starters, exits, promotions, and pay revisions.

Reporting and compliance

  • Prepare payroll reports for management and other internal stakeholders.
