Role Overview
This role involves processing multiple payrolls weekly and monthly, handling payroll activities from beginning to end for Irish and UK jurisdictions.
Main Duties
- Process various payrolls on weekly and monthly cycles accurately and punctually, covering payrolls for Ireland and the UK.
- Collect payroll data and timesheets while ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing.
- Generate payroll reports and payslips.
- Ensure compliance with Revenue requirements pertaining to PAYE Modernisation, Employee Registration Returns (ERR), and Auto Enrolment.
- Collaborate across departments, particularly with HR and Planning teams.
- Respond to payroll-related employee inquiries.
- Demonstrate a strong enthusiasm and dedication for payroll work.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of Leaving Certificate or higher education level.
- IPASS certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of two years' experience in payroll processing.
- Familiarity with Sage Micropay professional software is highly desirable.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ownership of workload delivering quality outcomes.
- Effective planning, organization, and time management skills.
