About the Role

Your role involves organizing and coordinating patient bookings through electronic systems and direct communication to ensure efficient scheduling. Acting as the bridge between patients, medical professionals, and administrative teams, you will uphold a patient-centered approach that supports high-quality healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange patient appointments using phone, email, and face-to-face communications.
• Work closely with healthcare providers to confirm availability and allocate appropriate time slots for various appointment types.
• Validate patient data and insurance information to maintain scheduling accuracy.
• Adjust appointments as needed to accommodate urgent and emergent cases.
• Coordinate with billing and insurance teams to verify coverage details and co-payments.
• Keep electronic scheduling records current and precise.
• Offer outstanding customer service by addressing patient inquiries and appointment concerns.
• Contribute to maintaining a tidy, organized, and inviting reception environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional related education is advantageous.
• Preferably has prior experience in healthcare or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with electronic scheduling platforms and basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent organizational abilities and strong attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and work productively in a dynamic setting.
