About the Role

Barminco has secured the contract for the Bellevue Gold Project, situated roughly 40 km northeast of Leinster in Western Australia's Northern Goldfields. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, this is among Australia's most high-grade underground gold mines, which began commercial production in 2024 and holds strong potential for long-term growth. The mine incorporates cutting-edge mining practices alongside a firm commitment to sustainability, including a hybrid renewable energy power facility that supplies over 80% of the site's energy needs via renewables.

As part of this project, Barminco is recruiting experienced and driven Underground Paste Crew members for full-time roles on a 7:7 fly-in fly-out roster based out of Perth. These positions play a vital role in maintaining safe, productive, and efficient underground mining operations at Bellevue, contributing to its ongoing success and expansion. Key Responsibilities

• Perform paste running operations underground.
• Monitor paste fill equipment including devices, walls, and valves.
• Coordinate closely with the paste plant operator to ensure smooth operations.
• Complete all required checklists and documentation related to paste filling.
• Ensure paste backfill tasks are executed according to planned schedules.
• Install, inspect, maintain, and manage paste barricades and bulkheads.
• Inspect and clear paste lines and associated equipment regularly to avoid blockages.
• Collaborate with mining and production teams to meet operational targets.
• Adhere strictly to all safety, quality, and environmental standards during paste operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous work experience as a Paste Crew Operator in underground mining.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with site protocols.
• Possession of relevant operating tickets and licences.
• Capability to operate both independently and within team settings.
• Ability to satisfy all site access preconditions, including medical clearance, drug and alcohol screening, National Police Clearance, and a valid manual driver's licence.
