About the Opportunity
The Strategy and Future Department at the University is looking for a Partnership Manager to lead efforts in partnership development and stakeholder engagement. This role involves identifying new collaboration possibilities, managing partnership agreements, nurturing stakeholder relationships, monitoring partnership outcomes, and aiding the execution of the University's partnership strategy to boost institutional influence and meet strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover, assess, and cultivate partnership opportunities aligned with the University's strategic priorities and objectives.
- Establish and sustain strong connections with government bodies, industries, academic entities, international organizations, and other pivotal stakeholders.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of partnerships, including engagement with stakeholders, crafting proposals, negotiating terms, coordinating agreements, and ensuring implementation.
- Collaborate with relevant parties to prepare, review, and process Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), partnership contracts, and associated documents.
- Conduct research on market trends, stakeholder landscapes, benchmarking, and environmental factors to uncover emerging partnership prospects and best practices.
- Work with internal departments to recognize partnership demands and promote collaborative initiatives that are mutually advantageous.
- Track partnership operations and performance against predetermined goals and KPIs, compiling periodic reports and suggestions.
- Assist in evaluating partnership risks, compliance, and governance, recommending mitigation strategies when needed.
- Represent the University at meetings, conferences, exhibitions, forums, and networking events to fortify external relations and advance institutional interests.
- Keep accurate and accessible partnership records, databases, and documents, ensuring adherence to institutional standards.
- Enhance stakeholder communication and engagement to maximize the value of partnerships.
- Execute other tasks as assigned by the Direct Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 6 years in management roles; or a Master's degree with at least 6 years of experience including 4 years in managerial positions.
- Possession of certifications relevant to the field is advantageous.
