Role Overview

The Part Time UI/UX Trainer will be responsible for preparing and delivering instructor-led courses focusing on user interface and user experience design at Edoxi's campus in Doha, Qatar. This in-person position involves designing lesson plans, crafting practical exercises, guiding learners through design processes, and providing detailed feedback on assignments and projects. The trainer will exemplify best practices in UI/UX design, review student portfolios, and assist in equipping learners with skills needed for the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive UI/UX training sessions in an on-site classroom setting.
• Develop lesson plans and hands-on exercises to facilitate learner understanding and skill application.
• Offer constructive evaluations of students’ projects and portfolios to promote growth.
• Update and maintain course content to keep pace with the latest UI/UX trends and tools.
• Collaborate with fellow trainers to enhance and refine training programs.
• Participate occasionally in supplementary workshops and seminars to enrich learner experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in user experience design, including understanding of user flows and interaction design principles.
• Proficiency in creating high-quality mockups and visual designs using contemporary design software.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping techniques for both web and mobile platforms.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development concepts like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively communicate design implementation.
• Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or training in UI/UX or related domains with strong communication skills.
• Possession of a portfolio featuring practical UI/UX projects demonstrating knowledge of design systems, usability, and responsive design.
• Preferred academic credentials or certifications in design, human-computer interaction, or related fields.
