Position Overview
Join Walmart Canada as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate, a role ideal for honing your retail skills. In this position, you will be responsible for selecting, packing, and dispatching online orders while ensuring exceptional quality and strict compliance with safety and food hygiene standards. This role is perfect for those interested in a dynamic customer service or retail environment.
Key Duties
- Carefully and efficiently pick and assemble orders across multiple temperature zones to ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Accurately pack orders, distinguishing between similar products, verifying exact quantities and product codes.
- Maintain the highest product quality by avoiding damaged goods and selecting the freshest items.
- Properly document and label all orders by interpreting pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels correctly.
- Optimize packing to fill totes efficiently while upholding product quality standards.
- Balance order fulfillment tasks with customer interaction, resolving any issues that arise.
- Comply strictly with safety and food hygiene regulations, including maintaining clean workspaces, promptly cleaning spills, and ensuring totes are free of debris before packing.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, completing pre-use safety inspections.
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Walmart’s mission and core values.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in procedures, productivity, safety, and quality standards, adapting work assignments as needed to meet delivery schedules.
Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.15.
