Overview
Royal Mail is currently seeking dedicated Parcel Delivery Drivers to join the team at the Camberley Delivery Office (GU15 3HA) under a permanent contract. This role involves 37 hours per week, spread over five days Monday to Sunday, with working hours between 12:00 and 20:00. Weekend work on Saturdays and Sundays will be scheduled according to a local rota.
Role Responsibilities
As a multi-drop delivery driver, you will be responsible for preparing your delivery van and planning your routes efficiently using route-planning technology. Your mission is to deliver parcels punctually and securely across the allocated area, ensuring excellent customer service and representing Royal Mail positively. Duties also include handling and delivering special items such as election materials, food products, and alcohol in line with Royal Mail standards.
Candidate Profile
- Self-driven, positive attitude and able to work independently
- Highly organized and punctual, with strong initiative
- Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Comfortable engaging with customers and serving as a company ambassador
- Ability to work afternoon and early evening shifts
- Enjoyment of multi-drop driving and delivery tasks
- Holder of a full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points
