Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine painting tasks including wall coverings and floor repairs or replacement.
- Assist with routine maintenance procedures within the department.
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance work orders as assigned.
- Respond promptly to emergencies pertaining to plant engineering during on-call rotations.
- Carry out additional maintenance duties such as electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Have a minimum of two years of painting experience.
- Preferred experience includes work within commercial or healthcare settings.
- Technical school training or completion of an apprenticeship program is favored.
- No mandatory licenses or certifications required, however a valid Georgia driver’s license and compliance with Piedmont’s Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program Policy 3500 is preferred.
Additional Information
Candidate is expected to participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency coverage when Plant Engineering personnel are not on-site.
