Role Summary
The Owner/Writer position involves overseeing and producing written materials that clearly describe Emirates Loan's services, including loan options and application procedures, tailored for prospective clients. The incumbent will handle daily responsibilities such as preparing and refining website content, crafting social media updates, developing informational documents, and providing prompt, accurate responses to client questions.
Maintaining consistent messaging aligned with financial regulations and collaborating closely with banking experts to ensure accurate representation of loan products are also key aspects of this role. This full-time position requires physical presence at the Nairobi County office to facilitate effective interaction with both local and remote team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain engaging content for websites and social media channels explaining Emirates Loan products and services.
- Respond to client inquiries by delivering clear and precise information about loan offerings and application processes.
- Ensure all content adheres to relevant financial guidelines and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with banking professionals to accurately portray loan features and benefits.
- Manage multiple content projects and client requests efficiently within tight deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, capable of producing concise and informative content accessible to varied audiences.
- Ability to research complex financial topics and simplify them for broader understanding.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Efficient organizational and time-management skills to juggle several tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with essential digital tools such as word processors, online communication platforms, and social media management.
- Proficiency in English is required; command of additional regional languages is advantageous.
- Previous experience in writing, customer service, or finance is preferred but applicants demonstrating strong aptitude and motivation will be considered.
- Commitment to ethical handling of client data and presence at the Nairobi County office as required.
