About Us
Children's Apparel Network (CAN) is a prominent apparel company specializing in children's, baby, and licensed clothing for many of the largest retail brands in the country. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to join our team in a critical operational role that supports our sales department.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys data management, juggling various priorities, and ensuring customers receive timely and accurate services. The coordinator will play an essential role in assisting the sales team by handling order processing, monitoring key project milestones, coordinating product samples, and maintaining precise customer and order information within our ERP platform.
- Accurately enter and update customer purchase orders in the ERP system.
- Monitor and manage incoming EDI purchase orders to ensure timely and correct processing.
- Verify purchase orders for pricing, quantities, delivery schedules, and other customer specifications.
- Track order progression and provide proactive updates to sales personnel and customers.
- Arrange delivery timelines with internal teams to facilitate timely shipping.
- Prepare and maintain various spreadsheet reports including buy sheets, order trackers, sales, inventory, and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports.
- Generate and disseminate inventory and WIP reports from the ERP system to support sales strategy and order management.
- Organize and dispatch product samples for meetings and presentations.
- Maintain accurate data on customers, orders, and products within the ERP platform.
- Manage order changes, cancellations, and handle customer requests efficiently.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to order statuses, shipment details, and delivery timelines.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies in orders while coordinating with internal departments.
- Provide overall administrative assistance to the sales team as required.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Between 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in sales support, order handling, customer service, operations, or administrative roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems is necessary; familiarity with EDI order processing is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in the apparel, retail, or consumer products sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
