Job Overview
The role involves overseeing operations on offshore artificial islands while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and lifting activities on offshore artificial islands.
- Maintain outstanding operational and safety standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies.
- Exhibit strong leadership in all health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) areas.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly.
- Engage in daily safety toolbox talks and participate in regular safety meetings and initiatives.
- Monitor operational procedures adherence and report any changes.
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors to guarantee efficient and safe operations.
- Supervise and monitor teams ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Identify staff development opportunities and support career growth.
- Prepare and submit all required operational reports punctually.
- Ensure projects align with client requirements and deadlines.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation or secondary education combined with substantial relevant work experience.
- Understanding and commitment to core company values: safety first, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of company products.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts at remote offshore locations.
- Flexible approach to assigned tasks.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work effectively under pressure within strict deadlines.
- Proven ownership and accountability for responsibilities.
- Adaptable to operational changes in a dynamic and diverse environment.
- Capable of motivating and managing a team effectively.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- HSE certification such as IOSH or equivalent.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience.
Additional Information
- Salary offered: 10200 AED per month.
- Work schedule: 45 days on rotation followed by 21 days off.
