Role Impact

As an Officer in Loss Prevention, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of guests and property, enabling guests to move freely and with confidence. Your vigilance and protective instincts help create a secure environment, making guests feel as safe as they do in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct property-wide patrols and assist guests with room access as needed.
• Monitor security equipment and perform daily inspections to identify physical hazards.
• Respond promptly to accidents and support guests and staff during emergencies.
• Manage disruptive guests by calming situations and escorting individuals off the premises if required.
• Investigate incidents by collecting evidence and facilitating interviews with involved parties.
• Complete shift reports accurately and maintain confidentiality of all loss prevention documentation.

Physical and Other Requirements

This role requires compliance with defined quality and performance standards. You must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Tasks involve moving, lifting, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds) unaided, and assisting with heavier objects up to 35 kilograms (75 pounds). You will also use computers or point of sale systems to enter and retrieve work-related information, in addition to performing other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
