Multi-drop Delivery Van Driver

About the Role

We are seeking reliable Multi-drop Delivery Van Drivers to join a leading company based in Carmarthen, Wales. This position involves delivering chilled, short shelf-life products to multiple customer locations following a planned route. Drivers will be responsible for daily vehicle inspections, safe loading and unloading, maintaining the vehicle, and accurate record-keeping throughout their route.

Working Hours and Compensation

The shift starts at 3 AM and typically lasts around 8 hours. The role involves working five days a week with rolling rest days and optional overtime opportunities. Work is not required on Sundays. The starting pay is £13.10 per hour, with weekly payments. Employees will also benefit from 28 holidays annually, pension schemes, and mortgage references.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct deliveries of chilled, short shelf-life products to customers.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after each route.
• Manage the loading and unloading of deliveries efficiently.
• Ensure the delivery van is well-maintained and taken care of.
• Keep precise logs and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations both on the road and at customer locations, ensuring fitness to drive at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of six months of driving experience.
• Ability to work with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
