Key Responsibilities

• Head mobile development using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Manage application releases, including staging, TestFlight, and app store submissions, with deep understanding of store complexities.
• Lead integration and architecture planning for mobile SDKs and frameworks.
• Ensure pixel-perfect execution of intricate designs involving high-resolution videos, SVG animations, parallax effects, and interactive OpenGL components; rigorously test for cross-device and cross-browser compatibility primarily with physical devices.
• Resolve complex mobile development challenges effectively.
• Oversee state, session, API, and memory management, integrating services like OneSignal, AppsFlyer, Google Analytics, Firebase, and Monetate for optimal performance.
• Communicate timelines clearly and lead mobile engineering teams with strong presentation and public speaking skills, embracing Agile, Scrum, CAB, and ITSM methodologies.
• Architect scalable mobile solutions emphasizing code quality and testing, collaborating closely with design, backend, and AI teams for feature integration.
• Design advanced memory and routing systems supporting notifications, subscriptions, and microservices, enabling replicable features across applications.
• Apply knowledge of white-label and reusable component architectures in mobile apps.
• Guarantee high performance, offline usability, and seamless user experience, with proficiency in PostgreSQL, React Native, and Expo frameworks.
• Demonstrate expertise in SSO security, device testing, unit testing, and error tracking using tools like Sentry; lead teams in delivering flawless, high-speed apps for Saudi Royal and Government clients.
• Be Claude-certified and embrace collaborative team empowerment to create innovative and dynamic mobile applications.

Qualifications and Experience

• More than 10 years in mobile app development with extensive React Native experience.
• Familiarity with modern workflows including Claude Design and Figma AI tools.
• Proven mastery in end-to-end mobile development across iOS and Android, including complex app launches on various app stores.
• Strong command of TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and mobile architecture; proficient in native experience and cross-device testing.
• Knowledge of Flutter and native app development is a plus.
• Experience with LLM and AI integration in mobile apps is desirable.
• Hands-on experience managing monetization features like RevenueCat and in-app subscriptions.
• Skilled in Application Performance Monitoring using Sentry, Firebase, Splunk, New Relic, or Datadog, adept at diagnosing memory and API issues in large-scale applications.
• Experience with OTA updates, mobile CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Excellent grasp of mobile UX/UI principles and app store compliance, especially within the Middle Eastern market.
• Proven leadership in managing remote and cross-functional teams, with capability to report to the Head of Engineering and contribute to engineering standards and architecture.
• Understanding of Middle East app store regulations and policies; location requirement includes Riyadh with minimum one week per month onsite presence.
