Position Overview
For a site in Berlin, the team is looking for support in mail handling and goods receiving. The role starts immediately and is based in a clinic / hospital environment. Working hours are usually Monday to Thursday from 7:00 to 15:30 and Friday from 7:00 to 14:30, arranged according to the duty roster, with a 5-day week and 39.0 hours per week.
Compensation
Pay is aligned with wage group 4 of the building cleaning trade.
Key Duties
- Receive incoming mail, sort it, distribute it, and handle outgoing mail, including operating the franking machine.
- Accept deliveries of goods and ensure they are distributed to the right places.
- Work with an electronic inventory and goods management system.
- Carry out mail runs on the premises and trips within Berlin, such as to the registry office or other locations; a vehicle will be provided.
Candidate Profile
- Previous exposure to similar duties is an advantage.
- A valid Class B driving licence is required.
- You should be quick to understand new tasks, present yourself confidently, and maintain polished professional manners.
- Good PC skills are expected.
- Excellent spoken and written German is mandatory.
