Position Overview

In this role, you will help plan and coordinate manufacturing orders in SAP and ensure that production runs smoothly by aligning machine scheduling with deadlines, available capacity, stock levels, and changeover times. The position is based on site in Nordhofen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and control production orders in SAP while choosing the most efficient machine allocation based on delivery dates, capacity, inventory, and setup times.
Monitor planned delivery dates and trigger corrective actions whenever deviations occur.
Manage production materials so that quantities and timing remain aligned with requirements.
Improve existing process flows and help make operations more efficient.
Create, maintain, and review production-related performance indicators.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to and from other locations.

Candidate Profile

You should have completed vocational training, ideally in the metal or plastics sector.
A further qualification as a technician or master craftsman in an industrial production environment is preferred.
Several years of experience in production planning or work preparation is desirable.
You need strong knowledge of production engineering and serial production.
You should bring confidence, assertiveness, and a structured way of working.
Very good SAP knowledge as well as experience with BDE/MDE systems is required.
You should be comfortable using MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
Good written and spoken English skills are expected.
