Position Overview

This role as a Merchandiser involves working primarily in local grocery stores to ensure that Coca-Cola Canada Bottling products are stocked, displayed, and readily available for consumers. Merchandisers act as frontline representatives providing excellent service to both store clients and customers.

Key Duties

• Stock and replenish beverages on shelves, racks, displays, and coolers by transferring products from storage or backrooms to storefront areas using manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks.
• Assemble, modify, or dismantle product displays adhering strictly to company standards; maintain all associated signage; clean stocking areas and remove defective or damaged items.
• Strictly comply with Coca-Cola and store policies regarding inventory handling, replenishment, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Manage backroom inventory organization and documentation, report stock levels, process damaged goods, repack products, and maintain backroom materials orderly.
• Keep a clean and safe work environment consistent with company sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Foster professional relationships with coworkers and customers to ensure smooth team collaboration and customer satisfaction.

Physical Requirements

• Repeatedly lift, move, and place products up to 50 lbs (22 kg) above shoulder height without assistance.
• Perform frequent kneeling, squatting, and reaching overhead.
• Push and pull manual or powered equipment with products for distances up to 100 yards unaided.
• Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• Candidate must be at least 17 years old.
• Preferred minimum of one year experience in grocery, retail, warehousing, or related settings.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision for at least one year is favored.
• Must have access to a personal vehicle during working hours accompanied by valid vehicle liability insurance.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no major violations in the last three years is mandatory.
