Key Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment that enhances both internal team and customer experiences.
  • Uphold a culture of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.
  • Manage receipt and prioritization of truck deliveries to efficiently stock sales floors.
  • Train and guide associates on merchandising standards and processing procedures.
  • Ensure merchandise is accurately tagged, hung, secured, and labeled.
  • Coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain a steady flow of products.
  • Oversee associates' completion of daily tasks per store plans and establish priorities.
  • Monitor team productivity, providing coaching when needed.
  • Organize and rotate back stock to facilitate easy restocking.
  • Maintain merchandising philosophy consistency and signage quality.
  • Ensure backroom area cleanliness, order, and recovery standards are met.
  • Comply with environmental programs including recycling and hazardous waste protocols.
  • Communicate priorities and progress clearly with management and staff.
  • Offer and receive constructive feedback and recognition.
  • Partner with management to support associate training needs.
  • Adhere strictly to labor laws, company policies, and procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty initiatives.
  • Support store-wide shrink reduction programs.
  • Maintain awareness and practices that promote safety.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking ability and adaptability to changing situations.
  • Collaborative team player capable of working well with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy items with or without accommodations.
  • Experience training others effectively.
  • At least one year of retail experience plus six months in a leadership role.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers an initial wage between $15.00 and $15.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include an associate discount, employee assistance programs, 401(k) contributions and matching, medical and dental coverage options, paid leave, referral bonuses, and discounts on childcare, cell phones, pet insurance, legal services, and more. Eligibility for benefits is subject to meeting service or hour requirements and plan terms.
