MEP QA/QC Engineer

About the Role

An established MEP contracting firm in the UAE is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to join their Dubai project team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations throughout various phases of large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage QA/QC procedures applicable to MEP systems on construction sites.
• Maintain and update essential quality logs and documentation regularly.
• Verify that all MEP installations comply with approved methods and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections to ensure installations are carried out correctly and according to method statements.
• Prepare and review quality-related documentation, including method statements and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
• Participate in site inspections and meetings with consultants to discuss and inspect MEP works.
• Oversee quality processes from project initiation through to handover and closeout.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in QA/QC roles focused on MEP works within construction projects.
• Proficiency in all QA/QC practices, procedures, and reporting requirements for MEP works.
• Relevant experience working on large projects, such as multi-story buildings or villa communities, covering all stages including handover documentation.
