Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract role focused on creating high-quality, single-choice questions tailored for AI training purposes. This role entails developing assessment content grounded in mechanical engineering principles, particularly within Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids. The position offers flexible remote work with an expected weekly commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Design clear and precise multiple-choice questions based on fundamental mechanical engineering topics for artificial intelligence training datasets.
• Convert advanced engineering concepts into evaluative content that is both accessible and technically accurate.
• Maintain strict adherence to technical standards to ensure the relevance and practical application of content.
• Prepare detailed explanations and justifications for question answers to support AI learning models.
• Work collaboratively with remote project coordinators to meet content deadlines and project milestones.
• Review and revise contributed materials to enhance quality based on feedback received.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a PhD or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids.
• Demonstrated ability to transform complex mechanical engineering knowledge into clear, written instructional content.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with an aptitude for explaining sophisticated topics effectively.
• Prior involvement in educational material development, assessment question design, or technical documentation is preferable.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy in technical content.
• Highly self-driven and well-organized individual capable of efficiently managing remote work settings.

Additional Information

• Compensation ranges between $50 to $70 per hour.
• The role allows flexibility with a workload between 10 to 40 hours weekly.
• The position is entirely remote.
