EDI Enterprise Pvt Ltd specializes in manufacturing a range of material handling equipment such as weighing and bagging machines, conveyors, belt feeders, and storage hoppers.
Job Responsibilities
- Design new mechanical products or update existing designs, focusing on systems and components.
- Develop precise 3D models and 2D drawings for parts and assemblies using CAD tools like Solid Edge, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, ensuring all designs are accurate and manufacturable.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, technical specifications, calculations, and related documentation including blueprints and nesting layouts.
- Support production and assembly stages by providing technical expertise and resolving site-related challenges.
- Collaborate closely with shop floor personnel, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to confirm design requirements are met and to address production concerns effectively.
- Compile thorough technical documentation such as Bills of Materials and assembly instructions.
- Identify opportunities for design enhancements to improve efficiency, decrease manufacturing costs through Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles, and enhance overall product quality.
