Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Estimator to join a prominent Infrastructure firm's busy Project Division located in Somerset. The annual salary ranges between £60,000 and £65,000, depending on your level of expertise, with additional benefits.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Possess between three to five years of estimation experience specifically in the building services or mechanical and electrical (M&E) sector.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing installations.
- Demonstrate ability in preparing precise and reliable project tender submissions and cost plans.
- Be skilled in interpreting technical drawings and project specifications accurately.
- Utilize estimating software tools along with Microsoft Office proficiently.
- Carry strong commercial acumen paired with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- HNC, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering estimating services across commercial, residential, and public sector projects.
