Overview
The Master Supply Planner plays a pivotal role in integrating sales demand, project commitments, and long-term strategic supply plans into actionable supply chain execution for power generation and advanced equipment. This position acts as a key coordinator among Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to support delivery schedules, allocate critical components, and manage cash flow and capacity constraints. The role requires a strategic and multi-year perspective to align medium- and long-term supply capacity with sales forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert sales forecasts and orders into confirmed and projected supply plans for essential components.
- Identify and drive process improvements to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Sales to assess delivery feasibility, lead times, and capacity during bidding and contract stages.
- Manage the Master Production Schedule for long-lead, advanced, and critical equipment items.
- Support commercial negotiations by analyzing schedule, cost, and risk trade-offs.
- Maintain awareness of demand fluctuations and their operational consequences.
- Adapt to evolving duties, responsibilities, and tasks as required by the role.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 7 years experience in supply chain management within manufacturing or demand planning.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred educational background in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business disciplines.
- Industry experience, especially in power generation, energy, EPC, or industrial equipment, is advantageous.
- Proficient in supply chain management software; experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including macros and complex formulas.
- Direct experience managing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving aptitude, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications, skills, and experience.
