Marketing Specialist

Overview

This is a remote contract role for a Marketing Specialist based in the United States. The engagement is designed for a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.

Role Responsibilities

• Review real workplace communications such as Slack conversations, email exchanges, and internal documents to pull out meaningful marketing insights.
• Spot and record important decisions, next steps, dependencies, blockers, and open questions that affect marketing operations.
• Create believable, multi-step tasks that mirror real work scenarios in marketing, sales, or business operations.
• Combine incomplete and unclear information by linking details across different sources and timelines.
• Draft precise prompts and assessment rubrics for AI agents using genuine workplace context as the foundation.
• Protect sensitive information and follow data-security standards while handling authentic startup communications.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to different audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret, organize, and summarize messy business or marketing data from multiple sources.
• Skill in tracking decisions and resolving unclear points within distributed workplace communication.
• Background in building process-oriented workflows and documenting multi-step projects or campaigns.
• Comfort working independently while coordinating asynchronously with a remote, distributed team.
