Role overview

Join a store-based fresh bakery team where your baking skills and customer-focused approach help keep the counter stocked and appealing throughout the day. This position is ideal for someone with experience as a trained baker, in a bakery, or in a professional kitchen who enjoys working in a lively retail environment.

What you will do

• Keep customers confident that fresh bakery items are consistently available.
• Maintain attractive, high-quality food presentation throughout trading hours to support sales.
• Prepare bakery items to the company’s standards using the right equipment, such as a prover, oven, and mixer.
• Produce a range of baked goods including bread, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products.
• Provide warm, helpful service that removes obstacles for customers and creates memorable interactions.
• Support the wider fresh counters area when needed so customers are well served across Market Street.
