About the Role

A pharmaceutical firm based in Cashel, Tipperary is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their production team. This position offers a competitive base salary complemented by a 25% shift allowance, set within a dynamic and strictly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage manufacturing equipment and processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • Execute production tasks including dispensing, blending, granulation, and compression as applicable.
  • Continuously monitor process parameters to maintain consistent product quality.
  • Conduct equipment setup, cleaning, and changeovers.
  • Complete batch documentation and production records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Identify, report, and escalate any deviations, equipment faults, or safety issues promptly.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, and other departments.
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping and hygiene within the production area.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing principles.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous work experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical device, food production, or similar manufacturing sectors is preferred.
  • Familiarity with production machinery or automated production systems is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail with a commitment to compliance and quality assurance.
  • Ability to adhere strictly to procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Good communication skills combined with a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Availability and flexibility to work various shift patterns, including rotating shifts.
