About the Role

We are searching for an exceptionally organised and detail-focused Manufacturing Administrator to support our manufacturing operations at the Manurewa site in Auckland. This position offers an excellent chance for someone who takes pleasure in managing and coordinating diverse administrative and operational activities within a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain accurate production, operational, and business data records.
  • Organise training and competency administration, including scheduling, maintaining training records, competency matrices, and liaising with employees, supervisors, and external training providers.
  • Generate and maintain KPI reports, performance metrics, and other operational data to aid business decisions.
  • Assist with month-end stocktakes, audits, and inventory-related administrative tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support to manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and inventory teams.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement efforts by managing operational reports and supporting process enhancement activities.
  • Oversee document control to ensure that records remain accurate, up-to-date, compliant, and readily accessible.
  • Manage procurement of office and operational supplies, including raising purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, and tracking deliveries.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to meet daily operational requirements.
  • Maintain an organised workplace and ensure administrative systems are well-managed.
  • Promote safe workplace practices by addressing health and safety risks and ensuring compliance.

Candidate Profile

  • 3 to 5 years experience in roles involving administration, operational support, customer service, logistics, manufacturing, or similar sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP or operational systems such as BPCS or Nexus is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy.
  • Capability to consistently manage routine tasks with high quality and consistency.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic workplace.
